I won’t be impatient for the Lord to act! I will keep traveling steadily along his pathway and in due season He will honor me with every blessing.
Psalm 37:34 TLB
Open Road
When I thought that the road has cleared and could not generate new natural laws for the universe, I sensed the Way. But the Way is not just about things happening at a cosmic level. At the most mundane level of my everyday life, new situations emerge constantly and each is like a miniature world emerging out of the Way.
As I understand the process of things emerging from the Way, instead of simply living within all these situations and worlds, I can gain the power to alter them. In the social worlds, I can successfully generate new interactions, circumstances and understandings.
When finding my interpretation of the Way and understanding how to do this, a connection with the Source is felt. It’s like an effortless flow of mental, physical, spiritual, and psychological patterns or forces. Absolute TRUST in all events transpires. For prolonged moments, a release of all worries and thinking are dismissed. The stress evaporates into nothingness.
The open road gives a representation of delivering the mind freedom of expression. Why not carry this over to the other realms of life? Perhaps it’s because professional, leisure, practical ways of living are all divided as an experience. Does this sound familiar…? Monday has its feel, Friday has its anticipation, Sunday evening, a heavy dread.
This does not have to be the experience. When I can integrate all the days as One, I purposefully live each day as its unique portrait or gift. The days blend into a flow where the calendar is only a reference and not an objective. Intention and expectation are distinct.

Intention is aiming or purpose driven towards a goal or result. Expectations place a self made belief structure of rules and code. This “should” happen or it “will” be done. I can see the distinction, can you?
My disposition is to respond emotionally to other people. The energy or words of joy, anger, sorrow and sadness are given by nature. When it comes to their being manifested on the outside, it is because they have been elicited by others. Then the radio on the open highway presents feedback….. The Spirit Of Radio:
Begin the day
With a friendly voice
A companion, unobtrusive
Plays that song that’s so elusive
And the magic music makes your morning mood
Off on your way
Hit the open road
There is magic at your fingers
For the spirit ever lingers
Undemanding contact
In your happy solitude
Invisible airwaves
Crackle with life
Bright antennae bristle
With the energy
Emotional feedback
On a timeless wavelength
Bearing a gift beyond price
Almost free
All this machinery
Making modern music
Can still be open-hearted
Not so coldly charted
It’s really just a question
Of your honesty, yeah, your honesty
One likes to believe
In the freedom of music
But glittering prizes
And endless compromises
Shatter the illusion
Of integrity, yeah
Invisible airwaves
Crackle with life
Bright antennae bristle
With the energy
Emotional feedback
On a timeless wavelength
Bearing a gift beyond price
Almost free
For the words of the prophets
Were written on the studio wall
Concert hall
And echoes with the sound of salesmen
Of salesmen, of salesmen
Yes, we are all salesmen. Selling ourself to our realty. I write to persuade, influence, create positive change. I sense the Way in all activities. The open road is laid for the future which will face different and in many ways more challenging demands than it has in the past.
The pace of change is accelerating. The need for individuals who try to know it all and to tell everyone what to do is doomed to failure. The person who believes that there is only one best way and attempts to write detailed procedures has no chance. Focus and prioritization is priority in a period of rapid change and focus and the frequency of interactions may become more critical than the duration of the interactions.
The challenge is not in understanding this advice, but in doing it. How are your behaviors and activity matching your vision?
Learn from what people tell you about yourself and your opportunities for the future, prioritize and focus on a a few key areas for change, and follow up to ensure effective implementation. Doing so are key steps that can help you to grow and become the person of the future that you want to be.
The open road or the Way is always here if we simply cultivate our emotions so that we internalize better ways of responding to others.
